Data Integration
Project Lead: Jennifer Tuerke
Voices of Hope, Inc. (VoH) is a nonprofit grassroots recovery community organization that serves people who use drugs and those in recovery in Harford and Cecil County, Maryland. They are being supported by the Innovations in Recovery through Infrastructure Support (IRIS) Recovery Research Program to build an evidence base from their data collection systems that will demonstrate that those who engage with syringe service programs are more likely to enter substance use treatment and long term recovery.
VoH has the ability to track participants involvement with syringe services, treatment access and long term recovery through engagement with Peer Recovery Specialists at their Recovery Community Centers and backpack outreach teams.
